Le adidas Supergrip erano molto simili alle Superstar ma con un puntale in pelle invece che in gomma. Uno dei primi modelli adidas specifici per il basket, soprattutto per High School e College, con suola durevole, cavigliera imbottita e arco plantare ortopedico.

adidas Supergrips were very similar to Superstars but with a leather toebox instead of the rubber one. One of the first adidas models specifically for basketball, especially for High Schools and Colleges, with durable outsole, padded edges and orthopedical arch.
