(1971) adidas Jabbar

Alla fine degli anni ’70, la distribuzione di adidas era nettamente migliorata a New York. Questo contribuì all’ascesa delle Jabbar, signature shoe del leggendario centro di Bucks e Lakers e del suo Gancio Cielo. Al contrario di quanto si crede, furono loro e non le Superstar ad iniziare il retaggio adidas nella cultura Hip-Hop.

At the end of the 70’s, adidas distribution really improved in New York. This contributed to the rise of the Jabbar, signature shoe of the legendary center of Bucks and Lakers and his Skyhook. Contrary to popular belief, it was them and not the Superstars, to start adidas legacy in the Hip-Hop culture.
